The Student Nurses

Rothman's first independent film was a commercial success that spawned a whole series of student nurse films by other directors. Four aspiring young nurses, who share an apartment and a workplace, overcome various challenges and juggle their professional and private lives, have casual love affairs, become politically active, and trick the patriarchal system with a self-organized abortion.
